Caliph

Terms of Use

Last updated October 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Cubeshell LLC (“Cubeshell”, “we”), the company that provides Caliph. They cover the Caliph iPhone app, the website at app.caliphapp.com, the Caliph API, the Caliph Chrome extension, and caliphapp.com. By creating an account or using Caliph, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Who can use Caliph

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. If you use Caliph for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.

Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has access to it, tell us at [email protected].

Your content

Your Lists, tasks, notes, and other content remain yours. You give us permission to store, sync, and display them only to provide Caliph to you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Caliph to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights. Don’t try to access other people’s accounts, interfere with Caliph, get around its limits, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.

API keys

An API key acts for your account. Keep it secret: you are responsible for requests made with your keys. We may limit or revoke a key to protect Caliph or its users.

Pauses are reminders

Caliph pauses apps and websites using features of iOS and Chrome. A pause is a reminder, not a lock: you can always continue past it, and we can’t guarantee that every pause will appear.

Caliph Pro

Caliph has a free plan. Caliph Pro is an optional paid plan with more features, described on the pricing page.

Changes to Caliph

We may change, add, or remove features. We work to keep Caliph running, but we don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending your use

You can stop using Caliph at any time. To delete your account, open Settings in the iPhone app and choose Delete account, or email [email protected] from your account’s email address. Deleting your account cancels a Pro subscription bought on the website; cancel one bought in the iPhone app in your iPhone’s Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first.

Disclaimer

Caliph is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Cubeshell is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Caliph is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Caliph in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights your local law gives you.

Apps from Apple’s App Store

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t remove any protection that the law where you live gives you as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and give further notice where the change or the law requires it.
