What is Caliph?

How is Caliph different from a website blocker or to-do app?
The useful part is when your tasks appear: right as you open a distraction. You don’t have to remember to check your list first. Choose a task, open its focus timer and start a session from there.
Who is Caliph for?
People who have something to do but keep opening Reddit, YouTube or other websites without thinking. That might mean client work, studying or a personal task. You choose the websites and tasks that matter to you.
Can I still use these websites for work?
Yes. If you need LinkedIn for a client or YouTube for research, wait through the short pause and choose to continue. You can take a break too. You decide whether to open the website or work on a task.
Do I need the Chrome extension?
Yes, to pause websites, see your tasks at that moment and start focus sessions. The Caliph website lets you manage your tasks and chosen websites, but it cannot pause your browsing on its own.
